With the Gran Prix of Gloucester rapidly approaching, October 7th and 8th, the membership of Essex County Velo is once again greatly needed in several areas. This year we're making it worth your while. First off, volunteers get free food at the ECV Hospitality Tent. Sponsor Mercury Brewing will provide free refreshments.
Secondly, we're raffling off some cool stuff including a Redline cyclocross frame and a set of Mavic wheels. We're working on a system where the more you volunteer, the better your chances of winning. Volunteer opportunities are broken up into shifts and the more shifts you take the more raffle tickets you get.
Race Day Volunteers:
Two of the largest bike races in the country are promoted by our club, most clubs
would love to have one event this size, and we have two right here in Gloucester.
These events aren't possible without everyone's help and teamwork surrounding
the event. Volunteers are needed in every aspect of the race from set-up, registration,
to course clean-up...if you have the time, even a little, there's a position
just waiting for you. Please contact Jeff Gray, jeff@gpgloucester.com
