Cyclocross Race Calendar
Looking for guidance re: good 'cross races this fall . . . checking bikereg but would love to know the "not to miss' events (besides GPG of course).
And local . . . wasn't there an early season one in Amesbury last year? Don't see anything up in this area other than GPG.
Thanks.
Bob Beal - Long Time New England Race Supporter Passed Away
This just in form Mark Hagen about the passing this week of Bob Beal at the age of 82.
Bob was a tireless supporter of cycling in the US. He was a long time USCF Board member and provided the well known (and coveted) "Bob Beal Medals" for many many races throughout New England. His energy and spirit will be missed.

So we're in Sacramento for Valentine's Day. How cool is that?
Yesterday Fabian Cancellara took the day and squeaked by local favorite Levi. About 100,000 lined the streets. It seemed that most were there to catch a glimpse of Lance Armstrong. In fact, the Astana van look like the site of a Who concert all day long.
ATOC report
I'm new with ECV and I've never posted before, so this is a test. If successful, I'll send a few more pictures and notes. The wife and I are at the Tour of California for a few days. Yesterday's time trial was a blast. We found Tim J warming up at the OUCH van.
This morning the wind and rain are howling. It's going to be a long day for the peloton.
People to race with
I am wondering who plans on doing what kind of races throughout the season. i am a cat 3 cross racer and totally new to road racing so that means i am a cat 5. is there any members that are a 4 or 5 that plan on racing alot this spring? i would like people to train with and meet at the races and have some teamates to race with. I extend this to mountain biking and cross too. If your interested and want to discuss more u can email me at mikemeuse@gmail.com . thanks
ECV roller racing, anyone?
Various people have emailed me asking for a link to the video I showed at the annual meeting of the Rapha Roller (Cross) event in Portland. There's a couple of bits of interesting video. Here's the video I actually showed at the meeting.
