Thank You (Danke)

Dear all,
thank you so much for the wonderful send off last night.  I'm truly humbled and honored to have made such good friends in such a short time.  If you are traveling around in Europe please contact me and maybe we can go for a ride or at least a good German beer.

Time to say Goodbye

Dear fellow ECV members:

After only two short years with ECV the time has come for me to say goodbye. After 13 great years in the US, my family and I will move back to Europe. We will be living close to the Swiss Alps which will allow me to improve my climbing skills!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the great hospitality. From day one I felt very welcomed even though I had no road biking experience. Here some special thanks:

Thanks, Joe!

Just wanted to send out a big thank you to ECV member Joe Rapuano. My front tire blew out while getting warmed up minutes before the start of the second stage of the Working Man's Stage Race. While everyone else was getting lined up for the start of the race, Joe stayed back to assist me with tracking down a spare tube and getting it on my bike (I'd already used my own spare because my back tire had been flat when I'd pulled the bike out of the car 20 minutes earlier). Joe and I both made it to the start with a few minutes to spare.

Mid-Summer ECV Update

I hope you're enjoying the (finally) summer-like weather (I hope I didn't just jinx it).

I wanted to update you on a few things ECV.
